- Exterior lights and fascia illumination-check operation/condition
- Instrument guages, warning lights and horn-check operation
- Heating system, blower motor-check operation
- Air conditioning-check operation
- Seat belts-check operation/condition
- Bonnet catch-check operation/lubricate if required
- Wiring, pipes hoses, oil and fuel pipes-check routeing, damage, chafing and leaks (where visible)
- Engine, vacuum pump, and cooling system-check damage and leaks (where visible)
- Coolant expansion tank, windscreen washer, power steering and brake fluid reservoirs-check/top up fluids as necessary/report abnormal fuel loss
- Coolant-check antifreeze concentration, advise if required
- Auxiliary drive belts-check condition/advise if adjustment needed
- Battery-check general condition and test using midtronics tester-/clean terminals
- Automatic transmission-check/top up fluid (if applicable)
- Steering, suspension linkages, ball joints, driveshafts, gaiters-check damage, wear, security
- Front and rear wheel bearings-check wear
- Engine and transmission-check visible damage and leaks
- Exhaust-check condition, damage and leaks
- Underbody-check condition and damage
- Braking system-with wheel/drum off check condition of brake pads, discs, calipers, shoes, drums and cylinders.
- Record brake pad and disc thickness on VHC Tyres including spare wheel-adjust pressure, check wear and condition record on VHC
- Wheel nuts-tighten to correct torque
- Oil and oil filter-drain and replace oil, replace oil filter
- Reset service light

We have all been shocked or surprised by unexpected car maintenance costs at one point or another. With Hartwell Signature Flexi Maintenance Payments, you can now spread the costs over 12 months with a small initial deposit. What’s more, there is no interest to pay with 0% APR representative.

Interest-free payment plans can be used to help with the cost of car servicing, MOTs, accident repairs, parts and accessories. You can put up to £3,000 on to a Hartwell Flexi Maintenance Payments as per the terms and conditions.

The offer is applicable to all UK residents over the age of 18 who are either in employment or retired and have a bank account in their name. Once we have given you a quote for the cost of your repairs, you can make your application at the dealership. One of our service advisors will help you through the process.

Finance is provided by Hartwell Finance Limited. You do need to make your first initial payment of at least 10% as per the terms and conditions. Our payment plans are completely interest-free with 0% APR Representative.

Not only do we sell tyres for all makes and models, but we also source direct from the manufacturer to get the best price possible, cutting out the middle man and passing those savings on to you directly. Our prices start from just £48 fitted.

We also provide a fast fit service at most of our dealerships which means that your new tyres will be fitted while you wait. Organise a time to suit you and we will do the rest.

If your car is over three years old it must undergo an annual MOT Test to ensure it meets legally set road safety and environmental standards. Book online with an any of our dealerships today, for convenience and the knowledge that your work is being carried out to exact standards by Ford-trained technicians.
